Hurrah for Chocolate Body Butter!

When I found out that The Body Shop had created a chocolate scented body butter, only two thoughts ran through my mind:

(1.) Why on Earth hadn't they done this before

and

(2.) I WANT!

Launching at the end of this month, the aptly named Chocomania could just be the most indulgent of the body butter family. The moisturiser contains 13 Community Fair Trade ingredients (the most The Body Shop has ever put into one product), and promises to leave the skin smooth, hydrated and of course deliciously scented. To compliment the body butter, a matching shower gel, lip butter, body scrub and soap are set to hit the shelves just in time for Valentines Day.

Chocomania Body Butter is available instore from January 30th, but if you can't wait that long, you can find it at thebodyshop.co.uk where it's being sold at the special price of £9 for 48hrs only!

With Valentines day approaching, I'm thinking that this year rather than eating my weight in Quality Street and wallowing in my own self pity, I may just treat myself to a tub of this. :)

Philosophy UK

I did a little squeal of delight when I got an email the other day telling me that one of my favourite beauty brands had officially launched online here in the UK.

In my opinion, Philosophy comes up with some of the most scrumptious bath and body concoctions (Maple Pecan Crumble shower gel, anyone?) and produces simple and effective skincare products that have already gained a cult following over in the US.

Of course, we already had access to some of Philosophy's offerings thanks to Boots and department stores, but the new website means that Brits can now enjoy the full range of delicacies once reserved for our American comrades.

Hurrah!

I'm testing out Philosophy's best selling cleanser Purity Made Simple at the moment and I can report that it is a lovely facewash if you prefer a fuss-free cleanse. It removes make up, cleanses, tones and hydrates in one step, so it's a fantastic option for busy ladies (and blokes) who want a squeaky clean finish fast. You can pick up a 90ml bottle for £8 so you don't need to fork out the big bucks to try it out. I likey!

Purity Made Simple £8 - £28.50

Treat yourself, and visit Philosophy UK to stock up on some truly delicious products and receive a free (very generous) sampler bag when you spend over £40 until January 16.

Yummy. :)

Thanks for reading, and sorry I've been out of action for a while...:o
